Bite At The Museum

For the culmination of my time at the University of Utah, I worked with a team of 17 other students on our Capstone game Bite at the Museum. Throughout the process our original idea underwent several iterations and we pivoted quite a bit. While working on the game I had my hand in a little bit of everything. I worked on asset implementation, 3D modeling, UVing, set dressing and my largest contribution to the game... lighting. We created our game in the UE4 Engine. I learned the ins and outs to lighting in Unreal. I experimented with different types
of lights along with whether we wanted them to be stationary, moveable or static. I also experimented with IES texture profiles. I wanted to create an environment similar to an actual museum and I was able to achieve that using the profiles.
We released the game in May of 2021 and it is free to play on the Steam marketplace.

I created these jousting horses for the level. We wanted to create a very cartoony, colorful and low-poly environment.
